My own little blog...to inspire myself to lead a fuller, healthier, more loving, peaceful, and compassionate existence. And inviting others to do the same...
Also, my newfound love - yoga - which I can't get enough of, has opened up my outlook on everything; has calmed, centred, and invigorated me, excited me about my future, and has awakened a passion in me.
My future has in it a huge move, both in location and lifestyle. Among other things, I am using this blog (and following others') to help me cope with the extreme changes that await me and my family - moving away from my family and friends, and stability (of a sort) to experience a new life of organic fruit and vegetables and....

Self and Ego

Self and Ego, two peas in a pod.

One is human, one is god.

Self is loving, wise and kind.

Ego’s noisy, proud, and blind.

Ego thinks just, I am me.

Self knows, I am sky and tree.

Ego acts like life’s a race.

Self will ride at Ego’s pace.

Self accepts all Ego’s faults.

As Ego learns, Self exalts.

Ego learns to see its game.

Desire, anger, are to blame.

Then, when all is said and done,

Self and Ego become one.
